Frequently asked questions on Financial Advice/Dormant Accounts at Assured Legacies

Q. I am only an ordinary person what do I need financial advice for?

A. What these days would be considered an average person would in the past have been considered a wealthy person. Most people nowadays have a property, savings, a mortgage, insurance, a pension etc. All or any of these make it worth our while taking specialist advice.

Q. We know our father had other assets/accounts/insurances/savings/shares etc but canít find any record of them. What can we do?

A. Without some information e.g. what financial institution held the accounts, what company he was insured with, what company the shares were held in etc it would be virtually impossible to trace the missing assets. A list of the assets held securely and in confidence by a financial advisor is one of the best ways of avoiding this serious problem.
